The New Hampshire
Association of Residential Care Homes (NH-ARCH) has grown considerably in recent years to
become a dynamic and professional association of nearly 100 facilities within the state
providing residents with assistance in daily living and activities. The Association and
its members work closely with regulators and facility owners/administrators to assure the
quality of life and care for residents in various members' homes. It is the statewide
affiliate of the Assisted Living Federation of America
and represents more residential care/assisted living providers than any other group in the
state. We provide meaningful referral services to member facilities for those seeking to find needed care for a loved one, patient or client. (click to the referral section of this web site). NH-ARCH is the primary provider of educational forums and programs for those working in residential/assisted living care. Our popular, fall, annual convention and membership meetings throughout the year also provide an excellent opportunity for learning and networking. The He-P 804 Rules Are Here! (Updated April 4, 2008) The 804 rules were adopted by JLCAR on March 21. The Bureau of Health Facilities is sending out a hard copy of the rules to all 804 providers. The Bureau is also developing an implementation and training schedule for the new rules. NH-ARCH expects to be involved with that effort. Nominations Open for the 2008 NH-ARCH Nursing Assistant of the Year!Mark you calendar for Thursday, June 5, 2008 and make plans to attend festivites held on the NH State House lawn when we will gather to honor all of the 2008 NH-ARCH nursing assistant nominees. Who will those nominees be? That is a question only you can answer! (The deadline for nominations is May 8.) For 2008, our goal as one of the participating associations is to greatly increase the number of nominations received and in attendance on June 5.
