LINKS TO RELATED SITESThe web site of Assisted Living Federation of America, the national organization of which the N. H. Association of Residential Care Homes is a statewide component. The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) represents over 7,000 for-profit and not-for-profit providers of assisted living, continuing care retirement communities, independent living and other forms of housing and services. Founded in 1990 to advance the assisted living industry and enhance the quality of life for the approximately one million consumers it serves, ALFA broadened its membership in 1999 to embrace the full range of housing and care providers who share ALFAs consumer-focused philosophy of care. The web site of the N. H. Department of Health and Human Services, the primary state agency regulating residential and assisted living care homes within New Hampshire. The agency administers laws and rules regulating the industry. Established in 2000, ServiceLink is a statewide network of locally-administered,
community-based resources for seniors, adults with disabilities and their families. There
is never a cost related to using ServiceLink and it is available to anyone who needs
assistance, advice or help with an issue relating to a senior member or disabled adult
