Job DescriptionBowman Place at Olde Bedford Assisted Living & Memory Care Experienced assisted living executive director sought to lead the opening of Bowman Place at Olde Bedford, a beautiful, not-for-profit assisted living community being built in Bedford, New Hampshire. This luxurious community is on schedule for a Spring, 2021 opening. We anticipate bringing the chosen candidate on board in November, 2020 to start the process of hiring staff and marketing the building. Our lovely community is 105 units, with 69 assisted living apartments and 36 memory care, and will be known for its truly innovative and forward-thinking programming. |
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position will be to plan, organize, and oversee all departments of the commu- nity. The Executive Director works in conjunction with department managers, and reports to the Board of Directors of this stand-alone community. Additionally, the Executive Director facilitates company policies and procedures for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have strong knowledge and understanding of Assisted Living operations, as well as Alzheimer’s Disease and memory care principles. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Director in an assisted living community, and prefer at least 3 years of experience working within a Memory Care community.
